Today is one of my favorite days of the year. No, it’s not filled with chocolate candies and flowers and all that crap. It’s the day that pitchers and catchers report to spring training. This marks the official start of the 2024 MLB baseball season, and I couldn’t be more excited about it. The sweet sound of spring, where the air is filled with the aroma of freshly cut grass, the crack of the bat, and the hilarious banter of pitchers and catchers reporting to MLB spring training. It's that magical time of year when optimism is as abundant as sunscreen in the Arizona sun, and the promise of a successful season hangs in the air like a poorly thrown curveball.
